Three words: Nawlins. Seafood. Festival. It’s happening this weekend October 10-12! The festival offers Louisiana seafood perfectly paired with the melodic sounds of New Orleans music. But let’s be real: we’re here for the food (and the New Orleans atmosphere!!)
As with any festival, we all have our favorites, and ours are definitely worth the hype.
Andrea’s: Named a top Italian restaurant in New Orleans by Zagat, Andrea’s serves up five-star American, Northern Italian, and seafood entrees, and they’ll be serving up something simply divine during the Louisiana Seafood Fest. So stop by their booth, but don’t plan on sharing (it’s just too delicious!)
Antoine’s: Antoine’s has been passed down through the family for generations. With masterpiece dishes like the to-die-for Oysters Rockefeller, you can’t pass up a chance to sink your teeth into the delectable dishes
Cafe Giovanni: Enjoy this fine dining experience outdoors where there will be plenty of seating (although we can’t guarantee you won’t have to wait in line) But trust us, this mix of Italian, Creole, French and American style food is definitely worth the line!
Red Fish Grill: This multi-award winning restaurant, including a reader’s choice “Best Seafood Restaurant” four years in a row, offers a wide variety of just caught seafood. We recommend you try a bite (or 12),you’ll understand why those readers were raving.
The Louisiana Seafood Festival being one of the biggest events this fall. So pull up a chair and dine, or get out and dance…whatever you do, we think you should be there. We know we will!
