Over the past couple of months, we've looked at the best New Orleans restaurants by street in the French Quarter, by neighborhood throughout the rest of the city and hopefully now you have a lot of ideas of where you want to eat the next time you’re in the mood to get out of the house for dinner or the next time you’re in town.
Bookmark this page for easy links to the different posts about each street and neighborhood.
In between shopping antique stories and exploring art galleries, sit down for a meal at one of these restaurants.
Bourbon Street (Upscale)
Bourbon Street is known for its wild and festive atmosphere, but it’s much more than just an international party destination. Check out these establishments when you’re looking for a fine dining experience.
Bourbon Street (Casual)
Of course if you are just looking a quick bite to eat, there are number of more casual places where you can get some grub in your stomach and quickly get back to the party.
Not as well-known as the festive Bourbon Street or the regal Royal Street, but that doesn't mean that you should skip it. There's three must check out restaurants on this French Quarter street.
After you take pictures at Jackson Square (it’s one of the most photographed spots in the world), check out one of these nearby restaurants for everything from classic Creole cuisine to flavorful craft beer.
Best Of the Rest French Quarter Restaurants
Not all of the great restaurants are on the main thorough fares, there are number that are tucked away on the side streets that you don’t want to miss.
The French Quarter is of course not the only place to get a great meal. In between attending a convention or seeing a game at the Superdome, check out these great restaurants in the CBD.
After you explore the largest municipal park in the country, you’re going to be hungry. Ralph’s On Park is literally located right across the street from the park.
Explore New Orleans first suburb, a hot spot full of live music and dining. I suggest getting a good meal, then picking one of the music venues to dance the night away in.
One of the most picturesque neighborhoods in city filled with tree lined streets, beautiful architecture and of course a number of great places to eat. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza or something a little bit fancier, there are many of options here.
The near suburb is just fifteen minutes away from the French Quarter and if you’re out that way, there’s a couple of restaurants that you have to check out.
