COOLinary Returns to the Crescent City
What can you get for $20? A local band’s CD, 5 minutes on the penny slots at Harrah’s, or someone to tell you where you got dem shoes. Or, you can get a 3-course lunch at some of New Orleans’ best restaurants.
It’s no coincidence that New Orleans’ tourism industry takes a hit in the hottest months of the year. Enter COOLinary, a citywide restaurant promotion that offers diners willing to brave the heat a lunchtime meal steal at $20 for three courses. You can also come out in the relative chill of evening for a $35 three-course dinner deal!
COOLinary runs from August 1 to 31, and restaurants all across the city are taking part. Last summer, New Orleans got to take advantage of delicious prix fixe menus at storied establishments like:
- Antoine’s
- Luke Brasserie
- Cafe Giovanni
- Pelican Club
- GW Fins
- Bayona
- Emeril’s
- Bombay Club
- Tujague’s
And too many more to list! Last year, more than 1,000 area restaurants took part in the COOLinary promotion.
Don’t miss your chance this month to try some of those restaurants you’ve always meant to visit. You’ll have enough cash left over to try New Orleans’ famous cocktails and concoctions, like Antoine’s Cafe Brulot Diabolique, or Tujague’s original Grasshopper (though don’t expect to sit down!).
