Annunciation's Grilled Lamb Chop

Lamb Chops Ingredients:
- 3 lamb chops (1/2 ounce chops trimmed
- Black pepper to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- Salt to taste
Lamb Chops Directions:
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder the lamb chops to taste.
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to heated pan.
- Sear 1-2 minutes each side of chops, depending on preferred temperature.
- Put to the side.
Lamb Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of whole garlic
- 2 stalks of rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cup of shallots
- 1 cup of beef stock
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of port wine
- 1 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, more for a thicker sauce
Lamb Sauce Directions:
- First, heat up the pan with butter, garlic, rosemary, red pepper flakes, and shallots, and let it simmer for 10 minutes on low until shallots are translucent.
- Then, pour in the port wine and cook for 5 minutes until it slightly evaporates.
- Next add the beef stock, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce, and let it simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Lastly, add cornstarch to your liking. Note: the more you add, the thicker it will be.
