Being a vegetarian for over 8 years, I have had time to learn the "ins" and the "outs" of dining meatless in the Big Easy.
Some may think this is quite a feat, impossible even, but this is not the case. In fact, having traveled, I find that living in New Orleans actually helps with vegetarian options.
As much of my breakfasts, lunches and dinners come along with sauces, stews and the like, having a plethora of ethnic cuisening.
This reviewer highly recommends the Galvez Restaurant. Be sure to try the bambas de patatas, the crab cakes, and the white port. You won’t be disappointed.
